I signed up for something, and decided I waned to cancel. So I followed the directions and called the provided number. The person on the other end was supprised that I wanted to cancel so soon to when I had signed up (same day). But he wasn't sure what day it was (here) so he asked me what day it was. I'm assumeing that this call center wasn't in the USA. Today is the 11th, he wasn't sure what day it was here. Not the kind of people that I want dealing with my credit card and other account info. Sheesh.
REMPL REMPL is a script that will push a local playlist (.m3u or.pls) to a remote WinAMP instance running the AjaxAMP plugin. This is useful for playlists specifying remote/web streams such as radio stations or playlists generated by a satchmo or zina server. First of all - you need winamp version 5.5.xxx and Bento or Big Bento Skin activated for this hack to work. I haven’t tested it other winamp releases. It's probably the AjaxAMP plugin for Winamp. Even when the AjaxAMP server is disabled and stoped, it sends out broadcasts every second or so: 01:65 IP 192.168.1.77.51515 255.255.255.255.51515: UDP, length 38 Remove the AjaxAMP plugin completely (Winamp will restart) and it should all go away.
